God, the King of Absolute Glory And Power, The Defender Of His Children:

  • The One Who Wields His Absolute Power In Protection Of, And Provision For, His Children;
  • The One Who Rescues And Defends The Afflicted ― The Poor, The Needy, Orphans, Widows;
  • The One Who Reserves His Inheritance And Pours Out All Good Things For Those Who Have Responded To His Love.

God, Perfect and Unlimited Goodness, Father Of Man:

  • The One Who Identifies Himself As Man’s Father and Models Integrity For All Fathers;
  • The One Who Formed Man In His Own Image, Using His Full Wisdom, Attention, And Intent;
  • The One Who Reduced Himself In Size, Bent Down, And Breathed Life Into Adam’s Nostrils;
  • The One Who Formed You And Breathed His Life Into You.

God, Pure Love Himself:

  • The One Who Created You For Shared, Reciprocal Relationship With Himself;
  • The One Who Invites You To Enjoy Day-to-Day, Moment-to-Moment Relationship With Him;
  • The One Who Leans Toward You With Favor and Generously Lavishes You With His Gifts;
  • The One Who Offers To Fill You As Full Of His Glory And Goodness As You Allow;
  • The One Who Demonstratively Rejoices Over You With All His Heart And All His Soul;
  • The One Who Desires That You Don’t Simply Know About Him But Desires That You Know Him.
God, Pure Love Himself, intentionally reduced Himself in size, formed Adam with His two hands and His complete attention, leaned toward Adam, and breathed into Adam’s nostrils.

Because sin had not yet entered the world, Adam’s mind was a completely pure, blank canvas.

When Father God’s breath surged LIFE into Adam, Adam opened His eyes to see the smiling, welcoming, accepting face of Pure Love.

From that moment, God, Pure Love Himself initiated daily walks with Adam so that they could enjoy one another’s presence and fellowship. Moment-to-moment relationship is Pure Love’s plan.

What Is God, the Father like? Let’s first establish Him as Father of All Things and then as your Father.

Revelation 4:11
    11Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were [brought into being] and were created.

Colossians 1:16-17
    16For it was in Him that all things were created, in heaven and on earth, things seen and things unseen, whether thrones, dominions, rulers, or authorities; all things were created and exist through Him [by His service, intervention] and in and for Him.

17And He Himself existed before all things, and in Him all things consist (are held together).

John 1:3
    3All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.

1 Corinthians 8:6
    6Yet for us there is [only] one God, the Father, Who is the Source of all things and for Whom we [have life], and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through and by Whom are all things and through and by Whom we [ourselves exist].

Romans 11:36
    36For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. [For all things originate with Him and come from Him; all things live through Him, and all things center in and tend to consummate and to end in Him.] To Him be glory forever! Amen (so be it).

Throughout the Bible, around 370 times, God identifies Himself as Father. Because He exists outside of Time, He has rejoiced over His creation of you for trillions of years … and longer.

2 Corinthians 6:18
    18And I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

As He focused His full attention on the essence of your being, God the I AM tenderly formed you.

Pure Love breathed His LIFE into you before you were born.

With His breath, He sparked such a heartfelt welcome to life that the dawn and the sunset joined with Him in shouting for joy.

For His own pleasure, He chose you and lovingly adopted you, for the purpose of drawing you into the Father-child relationship with Him for which you were designed.

He simultaneously knew the circumstances of your individual past, present, and future, and He delighted in His plans for your destiny.

Knowing that none of your own choices, nor any choices made against you ― past, present, or future ― could separate you from His love, His protection, His provision, His care, He initiated, prepared, and reserved all good ― all excellent ― things for you.

Displaying His extravagant generosity, He lavished you with the true riches bursting from His heart.

From the foundations of the earth He chose you as His child, one with whom He could enjoy the day-to-day, moment-to-moment relationship of watching you rejoice in His goodness and love.

Proving His desire to be Father to you, He counseled, led, and empowered you, gifting you with all resources necessary to fulfill your individual destiny ― to be whom He called you to be and to do what He called you to do.

Who has prepared and done this, calling forth and guiding the destinies of the generations [of the nations] from the beginning?

I, the Lord--the first [existing before history began] and with the last [an ever-present,
unchanging God]--I AM He.
[Isaiah 41:4]

Pure Love Himself designed you for relationship with Him. In addition, He placed a relational emptiness within your being that only He can fill.

Simultaneously, He created a home within His vast heart that only you can fill.

If for any reason you reject His invitation to relationship with Him, your home in His heart will be eternally vacant.

One man summarized, “The unrest of this weary world is its unvoiced cry after God.”

In response, Father God replies:

Jeremiah 31:25
    25For I will [fully] satisfy the weary soul, and I will replenish every languishing and sorrowful person.

In Isaiah, He proclaims:

Isaiah 30:18
    18And therefore the Lord [earnestly] waits [expecting, looking, and longing] to be gracious to you; and therefore He lifts Himself up, that He may have mercy on you and show loving-kindness to you. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are all those who [earnestly] wait for Him, who expect and look and long for Him [for His victory, His favor, His love, His peace, His joy, and His matchless, unbroken companionship]!
