From the foundations of the earth, from countless ages before you were born, of His own free will, God your Father determined to begin extending His infinite faithfulness to you, and He will continue to extend His faithfulness to you, eternally.

As He formed you and brought you to the moment of your birth, as He watched over you through your childhood and brought you to this moment today, He has been faithful to you.

From the moment of your birth through the endless ages, with absolute, eternal, everlasting, infinite, perfect faithfulness, God your Father:

  • Chose you individually, adopted you and elevated you — regardless of your gender — to His highest relational position — son.

  • Fills you with as much of His wisdom, truth, counsel, understanding, and knowledge as you desire.

  • Respects your free will. He extends His non-manipulative offer to lead, guide and counsel you, and only if you accept His offer, He goes before you with His favor and leads you in His triumph. [Because everything God your Father does is non-manipulative and without hidden motive, His offer carries with it no requirement for action on your part. His offer is extended freely to you with the purity of Heart that only the Father Who is absolutely, infinitely pure can offer.]

  • Offers to partner with you in a relationship designed to establish you in your calling and anointing and builds your life purpose, mission, destiny, and legacy.

  • Grounds your confidence in His abilities so that your confidence is not dependent upon your own abilities.

  • Exposes lies and decisions made in darkness with His vibrant Truth, Light, and Life.

  • Delivers you from the deceptions of those who seek to harm or manipulate you. He silences their lies, shatters their destructive decisions, and frees you from their bondages.

  • Restores what satan has stolen from you or, better than restores, creates new circumstances that are exceeding above all you could imagine, desire, or request in prayer.

  • Comforts you in your sorrow and tenderly stores your tears. God, your Father, soothes your heart and calms your fears. In John 16:27 Jesus assures that God your Father loves you, and to further describe God’s love, Jesus uses the word “tenderly.”

  • Heals you and renews your mind, body, soul, spirit, heart, will, emotions, and circumstances.

  • Establishes your spiritual, physical, financial, relational, and emotional health.

  • Breathes His vibrant LIFE into your being and causes you to thrive.

  • Prays for you and ensures your success.

The One Who names Himself your Father will do all that is necessary to ensure that your life purpose, mission, destiny, and legacy will not only come to pass but will be fruitful and have eternal value.

As you read what God's Word tells us about His faithfulness and trustworthiness, notice how many times the words “faithful” and “true” appear together.

Another word for “faithful” is “steadfast.” Here are a few of many verses which focus on His steadfastness:

Exodus 20:6
6But showing mercy and steadfast love to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Deuteronomy 5:10
10And showing mercy and steadfast love to thousands and to a thousand generations of those who love Me and keep My commandments.

Deuteronomy 7:9
9Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations.

Although these Old Testament writers wrote down what Father God told them to write between the years 1400 B.C. and 430 B.C., yet God is consistent in what can be termed His “Self description.” Though the word “faithful” doesn’t appear in these verses, you can be certain that His faithfulness undergirds every one of these virtues.

Exodus 34:6
6And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord! the Lord! a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving-kindness and truth,

Psalm 86:5
5For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our trespasses, sending them away, letting them go completely and forever]; and You are abundant in mercy and loving-kindness to all those who call upon You.

Psalm 86:15
15But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness and truth.

Psalm 103:8
8The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and plenteous in mercy and loving-kindness.

Psalm 145:8-9
8The Lord is gracious and full of compassion, slow to anger and abounding in mercy and loving-kindness.
9The Lord is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works [the entirety of all things created].

3A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth.
4He will not fail or become weak or be crushed and discouraged till He has established justice in the earth; and the islands and coastal regions shall wait hopefully for Him and expect His direction and law.

6I the Lord have called You [the Messiah] for a righteous purpose and in righteousness; I will take You by the hand and will keep You; I will give You for a covenant to the people for a light to the nations,
7To open the eyes of the blind, to bring out prisoners from the dungeon, and those who sit in darkness from the prison.
8 I AM the Lord; that is My name! And My glory I will not give to another, nor My praise to graven images.

16And I will bring the blind by a way that they know not; I will lead them in paths that they have not known. I will make darkness into light before them and make uneven places into a plain. These things I have determined to do [for them]; and I will not leave them forsaken.

11 I, even I, AM the Lord, and besides Me there is no Savior.
12 I have declared [the future] and have saved [the nation in times of danger], and I have shown [that I AM God]--when there was no strange and alien god among you; therefore you are My witnesses, says the Lord, that I AM God.
13Yes, from the time of the first existence of day and from this day forth I AM He; and there is no one who can deliver out of My hand. I will work, and who can hinder or reverse it?

Isaiah 51:6
6Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath; for the heavens shall be dissolved and vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner.     9Then you shall call, and the Lord will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, Here I AM. If you take away from your midst yokes of oppression [wherever you find them], the finger pointed in scorn [toward the oppressed or the godly], and every form of false, harsh, unjust, and wicked speaking,
10And if you pour out that with which you sustain your own life for the hungry and satisfy the need of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in darkness, and your obscurity and gloom become like the noonday.

7He who is victorious shall inherit all these things, and I will be God to him and he shall be My son.

Jesus continues:

Matthew 16:24-27
24Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also].
25For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].
26For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life [his blessed life in the kingdom of God]? Or what would a man give as an exchange for his [blessed] life [in the kingdom of God]?
27For the Son of Man is going to come in the glory (majesty, splendor) of His Father with His angels, and then He will render account and reward every man in accordance with what he has done.

Mark 8:34-37
34And Jesus called [to Him] the throng with His disciples and said to them, If anyone intends to come after Me, let him deny himself [forget, ignore, disown, and lose sight of himself and his own interests] and take up his cross, and [joining Me as a disciple and siding with My party] follow with Me [continually, cleaving steadfastly to Me].
35For whoever wants to save his [higher, spiritual, eternal] life, will lose it [the lower, natural, temporal life which is lived only on earth]; and whoever gives up his life [which is lived only on earth] for My sake and the Gospel's will save it [his higher, spiritual life in the eternal kingdom of God].
36For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?
37For what can a man give as an exchange (a compensation, a ransom, in return) for his [blessed] life [in the eternal kingdom of God]?

Mark 9:41
41For I tell you truly, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to and bear the Name of Christ will by no means fail to get his reward.

Mark 10:17-27
17And as He was setting out on His journey, a man ran up and knelt before Him and asked Him, Teacher, [You are essentially and perfectly morally] good, what must I do to inherit eternal life [that is, to partake of eternal salvation in the Messiah's kingdom]?
18And Jesus said to him, Why do you call Me [essentially and perfectly morally] good? There is no one [essentially and perfectly morally] good--except God alone.
19You know the commandments: Do not kill, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, do not defraud, honor your father and mother.
20And he replied to Him, Teacher, I have carefully guarded and observed all these and taken care not to violate them from my boyhood.
21And Jesus, looking upon him, loved him, and He said to him, You lack one thing; go and sell all you have and give [the money] to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come [and] accompany Me [walking the same road that I walk].
22At that saying the man's countenance fell and was gloomy, and he went away grieved and sorrowing, for he was holding great possessions.
23And Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, With what difficulty will those who possess wealth and keep on holding it enter the kingdom of God!
24And the disciples were amazed and bewildered and perplexed at His words. But Jesus said to them again, Children, how hard it is for those who trust (place their confidence, their sense of safety) in riches to enter the kingdom of God!
25It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.
26And they were shocked and exceedingly astonished, and said to Him and to one another, Then who can be saved?
27Jesus glanced around at them and said, With men [it is] impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.

Mark 11:25-26
25And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him and let it drop (leave it, let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven may also forgive you your [own] failings and shortcomings and let them drop.
26But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your failings and shortcomings.

Luke 4:10
    10For it is written, He will give His angels charge over you to guard and watch over you closely and carefully;

Luke 7:35
    35Yet [God’s] wisdom is vindicated ( shown to be true and divine) by all her children [by their life, character, and deeds]. {See Proverbs 8:1-31.}

Luke 9:23-25
23And He said to all, If any person wills to come after Me, let him deny himself [disown himself, forget, lose sight of himself and his own interests, refuse and give up himself] and take up his cross daily and follow Me [cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying also].
24For whoever would preserve his life and save it will lose and destroy it, but whoever loses his life for My sake, he will preserve and save it [from the penalty of eternal death].
25For what does it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and ruins or forfeits (loses) himself?

Luke 12:22-34
22And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear.
23For life is more than food, and the body [more] than clothes.
24Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds!
25And which of you by being overly anxious and troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature or a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]?
26If then you are not able to do such a little thing as that, why are you anxious and troubled with cares about the rest?
27Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these. [I Kings 10:4-7.]
28But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith?
    29And you, do not seek [by meditating and reasoning to inquire into] what you are to eat and what you are to drink; nor be of anxious (troubled) mind [unsettled, excited, worried, and in suspense];
30For all the pagan world is [greedily] seeking these things, and your Father knows that you need them.
31Only aim at and strive for and seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be supplied to you also.
32Do not be seized with alarm and struck with fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom!
33Sell what you possess and give donations to the poor; provide yourselves with purses and handbags that do not grow old, an unfailing and inexhaustible treasure in the heavens, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.
34For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Luke 16:10
10He who is faithful in a very little [thing] is faithful also in much, and he who is dishonest and unjust in a very little [thing] is dishonest and unjust also in much.

Luke 21:8-15
8And He said, Be on your guard and be careful that you are not led astray; for many will come in My Name [appropriating to themselves the Name Messiah which belongs to Me], saying, I am he! and, The time is at hand! Do not go out after them.
9And when you hear of wars and insurrections (disturbances, disorder, and confusion), do not become alarmed and panic-stricken and terrified; for all this must take place first, but the end will not [come] immediately.
10Then He told them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. [2 Chronicles 15:6; Isaiah 19:2.]
11There will be mighty and violent earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences (plagues: malignant and contagious or infectious epidemic diseases which are deadly and devastating); and there will be sights of terror and great signs from heaven.
12But previous to all this, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, turning you over to the synagogues and prisons, and you will be led away before kings and governors for My Name's sake.
13This will be a time (an opportunity) for you to bear testimony.
14Resolve and settle it in your minds not to meditate and prepare beforehand how you are to make your defense and how you will answer.
15For I [Myself] will give you a mouth and such utterance and wisdom that all of your foes combined will be unable to stand against or refute.

Luke 21:19
19By your steadfastness and patient endurance you shall win the true life of your souls.

Luke 21:33
33The sky and the earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

Luke 22:31-32
31Simon, Simon (Peter), listen! satan has asked excessively that [all of] you be given up to him [out of the power and keeping of God], that he might sift [all of] you like grain,
32But I have prayed especially for you [Peter], that your [own] faith may not fail; and when you yourself have turned again, strengthen and establish your brethren.

John 4:7-42
7Presently, when a woman of Samaria came along to draw water, Jesus said to her, Give Me a drink--
8For His disciples had gone off into the town to buy food--
9The Samaritan woman said to Him, How is it that You, being a Jew, ask me, a Samaritan [and a] woman, for a drink?--For the Jews have nothing to do with the Samaritans--
10Jesus answered her, If you had only known and had recognized God's gift and Who this is that is saying to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him [instead] and He would have given you living water.
11She said to Him, Sir, You have nothing to draw with [no drawing bucket] and the well is deep; how then can You provide living water? [Where do You get Your living water?]
12Are You greater than and superior to our ancestor Jacob, who gave us this well and who used to drink from it himself, and his sons and his cattle also?
13Jesus answered her, All who drink of this water will be thirsty again.
14But whoever takes a drink of the water that I will give him shall never, no never, be thirsty any more. But the water that I will give him shall become a spring of water welling up (flowing, bubbling) [continually] within him unto (into, for) eternal life.
15The woman said to Him, Sir, give me this water, so that I may never get thirsty nor have to come [continually all the way] here to draw.
16At this, Jesus said to her, Go, call your husband and come back here.
17The woman answered, I have no husband. Jesus said to her, You have spoken truly in saying, I have no husband.
18For you have had five husbands, and the man you are now living with is not your husband. In this you have spoken truly.
19The woman said to Him, Sir, I see and understand that You are a prophet.
20Our forefathers worshiped on this mountain, but you [Jews] say that Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary and proper to worship.
21Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither [merely] in this mountain nor [merely] in Jerusalem.
22You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping [you worship what you do not comprehend]. We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.
23Atime will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
24God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
25The woman said to Him, I know that Messiah is coming, He Who is called the Christ (the Anointed One); and when He arrives, He will tell us everything we need to know and make it clear to us.
26Jesus said to her, I Who now speak with you am He.
27Just then His disciples came and they wondered (were surprised, astonished) to find Him talking with a woman [a married woman]. However, not one of them asked Him, What are You inquiring about? or What do You want? or, Why do You speak with her?
28Then the woman left her water jar and went away to the town. And she began telling the people,
29Come, see a Man Who has told me everything that I ever did! Can this be [is not this] the Christ? [Must not this be the Messiah, the Anointed One?]
30So the people left the town and set out to go to Him.
31Meanwhile, the disciples urged Him saying, Rabbi, eat something.
32But He assured them, I have food (nourishment) to eat of which you know nothing and have no idea.
33So the disciples said one to another, Has someone brought Him something to eat?
34Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.
35Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting.
36Already the reaper is getting his wages [he who does the cutting now has his reward], for he is gathering fruit (crop) unto life eternal, so that he who does the planting and he who does the reaping may rejoice together.
37For in this the saying holds true, One sows and another reaps.
38I sent you to reap a crop for which you have not toiled. Other men have labored and you have stepped in to reap the results of their work.
39Now numerous Samaritans from that town believed in and trusted in Him because of what the woman said when she declared and testified, He told me everything that I ever did.
40So when the Samaritans arrived, they asked Him to remain with them, and He did stay there two days.
41Then many more believed in and adhered to and relied on Him because of His personal message [what He Himself said].
42And they told the woman, Now we no longer believe (trust, have faith) just because of what you said; for we have heard Him ourselves [personally], and we know that He truly is the Savior of the world, the Christ.

John 5:17
17But Jesus answered them, My Father has worked [even] until now, [He has never ceased working; He is still working] and I, too, must be at [divine] work.

John 5:18-19
18This made the Jews more determined than ever to kill Him [to do away with Him]; because He not only was breaking (weakening, violating) the Sabbath, but He actually was speaking of God as being [in a special sense] His own Father, making Himself equal [putting Himself on a level] with God.
19So Jesus answered them by saying, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the Son is able to do nothing of Himself (of His own accord); but He is able to do only what He sees the Father doing, for whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way [in His turn].
